Manama – The Asian Bankers Association invites all its members to participate in the “Showcasing Asian Bond Markets: Opportunities and risks” conference organized by the Association of Credit Rating Agencies of Asia (ACRAA) that will be held on April 23, 2018 at the Wyndham Grand Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.

The ACRAA Conference, held in cooperation with the Asian Bankers Association, will discuss capital market’s role in Bahrain’s economic development, Asian bond market’s general situation, Innovations in the Gulf’s capital markets, and a series of expert reports on bond market developments in Malaysia, India, Taiwan, Japan, China, Thailand among other Asia-centered bond market issues.

VENUE:
Wyndham Grand Manama Hotel, Manama, Building 450; Road 4611; Block 346, Manama Seafront; Bahrain Bay, Manama, Bahrain.

CONFERENCE FEE:
US$250 for ABA members payable upon registration.

TRAVELING & HOTEL EXPENSES:
ABA members are responsible for their own traveling and hotel expenses.

REGISTRATION & HOTEL BOOKING:
The Conference’s Registration and Hotel Booking form can be downloaded HERE and sent directly to Wyndham hotel or the ACRAA Secretariat before March 30, 2018 to take advantage of the special room rate/s for ACRAA/ABA participants.

The hotel package does not provide for airport transfers. However, it could be arranged by the hotel. The rates offered by the hotel are very close to what the airport transport service may charge. Taxis are conveniently available. Bahrain is a small, safe and convenient place to travel to.

VISAS:
Visa applications will be supported by official ACRAA conference invitations. Faheem Ahmad, Conference Chairman, is ready to assist and answer queries. Requests for invitation letters may be coursed to the ACRAA Secretariat (Ms. Mitz Velayo) at mitz.velayo@acraa.com or mitzfv@yahoo.com.

The Visa Application form can be downloaded HERE and emailed to Wyndham’s Reservation Department at reservationsbh@wyndham.com. The Visa process fee is BHD 40, as indicated in the form. Kindly note that the first and last pages of the passport are required for Indian nationals.
