About Oberthur
The OBERTHUR Group is privately owned with headquarters in Paris, France; it is one of the world leaders in the design and production of banknotes and high security paper.
As part of the OBERTHUR Group, OBERTHUR CASH PROTECTION is a leader in the design and manufacture of protection solutions for both cash and valuables in the Cash-In-Transit, ATM and Retail markets throughout the world.
These solutions are based on technology that will detect an attempted attack or theft, and then protect the cash by permanently marking it as stolen, rendering it valueless so criminals will look for softer non-IBNS protected opportunities.
In this way, OBERTHUR CASH PROTECTION solutions help improve security and therefore contribute to a safer environment for both cash operatives and the public.
ABA encourages members, associates and friends to take advantage of this opportunity to learn from Oberthur’s knowledge and experience in addressing banknotes design and security issues. Should you have further questions, please write to aba@aba.org.tw
