The Asian Bankers Association (ABA) would like to introduce to its members an important and interesting research project to which bank members can contribute.
Conducted by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Singapore, which is one of ABA’s Knowledge partners, the research project seeks to understand the views of banks regarding the effectiveness and impact of sustainable finance measures enacted in the Asia-Pacific region.
If a bank members would like to participate, please do find time to complete a short questionnaire which can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SustainableFinance_Banks
The questionnaire is a rare opportunity to provide confidential and anonymous feedback on the sustainable finance measures enacted in your countries and to influence their future development. The results will directly feed back into the next meeting of the ABA Policy Advocacy Committee to be held on August 30, 2021, 2:00 PM, Taipei time, so you also will be able to see the preliminary findings.
We would appreciate it very much if the bank member could kindly complete the survey questionnaire on or before June 4.
The research is being conducted by WWF Singapore jointly with the SOAS Centre for Sustainable Finance (located at SOAS University of London) and the South East Asian Central Banks (SEACEN) Research and Training Centre. The research project is funded by the INSPIRE Research Platform which is dedicated to supporting the Network of Central Banks and Supervisors for Greening the Financial System (NGFS).
