The Asian Bankers Association wish to inform that the 58^th and 59^th ABA Board of Directors Meetings will be held as a combined meeting using an online format and scheduled  on September 1, 2021, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, Taipei time. The date and format were decided during the recent online meeting of the ABA Planning Committee which took into account the continuing uncertainty in the travel situation due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the sentiment of the majority of Board members .

The Committee further agreed that, since the Board meetings are to take up internal matters and to be attended only by members of the Board, they should be held separately from the 37^th ABA General Meeting and Conference (which, as you may know, will take place on August 24-27, 2021 and attended by both ABA members and non-members)
