EFMA invites Taiwanese banks to conference

Taipei – The European Financial Management Association (EFMA) is inviting senior-level Taiwanese bank executives to its conference to be held on Tuesday 17th July 2018, from 9:30 am until 13:00 pm, which will be followed by a lunch hosted by Citibank Taiwan at 16F, No. 1, Song Zhi Road, Hsing Yi District, Taipei 110, Taiwan.

EFMA is a non-profit organization that brings together more than 3,000 banks from 130 countries. EFMA was established in 1971 and has become the world’s largest community of senior banking executives. As a professional association, its ambition is to help transform the industry to meet new challenges and increased competition.

EFMA’s Board is composed of financial institutions from across the world and is chaired by Yolande Piazza, CEO of Citi FinTech. Its Secretary General (CEO) is Vincent Bastid, delegated by BNP Paribas.

EFMA will present its role as a knowledge center in the banking industry. The presentation, which will also include details of the benefits available to members and a sample of our latest sector-based research, will be given by:

Mr Raphaël Goué – EFMA Regional Director and Senior Advisor on Fintechs. Raphaël is also Vice-Chairman of the Consumer Finance and NBFI Group at the European Chamber of Commerce in China and is involved in 2 Fintechs in Asia.

Mr Michael Lor – EFMA Senior Advisor. Michael has built a distinguish career of over 30 years across the Southeast Asian region as a senior-level banker with extensive focus in business transformation.

It is recommended that each bank is represented by two senior executives.
